Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. The 30K Program Office is seeking a Model Manager to support the PW1100G-JM/2 Advantage (GTFA) program. The program manager will manage the budget, task execution and integration with between the program office and engineering groups (CIPT's and support groups), as well as the Program Partners (MTU, JAEC, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience or Advanced degree and 7 years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and/or Financial Management
  • Program management experience with processes, tools, and techniques required (i.e. Budget Management, Schedule Management, leading teams of cross-functional disciplines, Project Engineering)
  • Direct interface experience with airframe customer(s), partners or suppliers

Responsibilities

  • Direct influence on company initiatives and bottom line
  • Establish Program Level 1 milestones for CIPTs and support groups to achieve Model Program goals
  • Identify, document and assess risks for mitigation actions and report into the IPMT
  • Accountable to Program Manager for development and execution of plans to accomplish Level 1 milestones including, but not limited to: Engineering Changes and associated validation testing, mitigation of top technical issues, engine model life management of engine management plans, (e.g., Post-Certification Block-Change ECs, top technical issues)
  • Manage changes in program priorities, coordinates with finance and CIPTs
  • Meeting annual financial commitments for Engineering & Development (E&D), warranty and capital expenditures, as applicable
  • Assist CIPTs in execution of their proposal/planning responsibilities including defining work scope, development of detail schedules and associated estimates, estimate roll-up and analysis, and estimate rationale, this includes management of budget risks and opportunities during the forecast year
  • Integration leader between P&W and IAE partners (JAEC and MTU)
