About The Position

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center in Clarkston is seeking a passionate and dedicated GSRP Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. As the Lead GSRP Teacher you will plan and execute a program of activities that is developmentally appropriate and meets the individual needs of each child utilizing the High Scope curriculum. You will foster strong family partnerships and collaborate with staff to ensure every child is prepared for future success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or child development with a specialization in preschool teaching; or A Valid Michigan teaching certificate and an Early Childhood Education (ZA) or Early Childhood-General and Special Education (ZS) endorsement, Birth-K, or PK-3 endorsement
CPR Certification required (can be completed within 30 days of hire)
Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Childcare Licensing guidelines for ECE teachers
Must have full-time availability and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check (fingerprinting)
