About The Position

ECE Subhub is hiring a full-time GSRP Lead Teacher to support Bussey Early Childhood Center with Southfield Public Schools. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead their own classroom and build long-term experience in early childhood education. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and leading daily classroom activities and creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children. This position is a good fit for someone who wants consistent, full-time weekday work in one classroom and is ready to take ownership of their own classroom community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

• CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification

Responsibilities

• Planning and leading daily classroom activities
• Creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children
• Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with program curriculum
• Leading daily routines and transitions
• Completing child observations, assessments, and documentation
• Guiding and supporting the Associate Teacher in the classroom
• Supervising children to keep them safe
• Building positive relationships with children and families
• Maintaining a warm and professional classroom presence
