About The Position

Oversee all GSE (Ground Support Equipment) maintenance operations, including de-ice trucks, provide expert troubleshooting, and lead the fleet maintenance program. Ensure equipment reliability, mentor technicians at all levels, and drive improvements in fleet performance. This role offers growth opportunities to influence fleet strategy and process improvements, train and develop future GSE Technicians, and potentially transition into broader operational leadership roles.

Requirements

5+ years of mechanical, automotive, or GSE/fleet maintenance experience OR strong combination of mechanical aptitude and leadership.
Proven leadership, mentoring, or project management experience.
Expert skills in engines, hydraulics, electrical, and automotive systems.
Experience managing diverse aviation fleets.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment non-DOT drug test and FAA background check.
Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Supervise all GSE maintenance (diesel, gasoline, de-ice trucks, and specialty vehicles).
Lead complex repairs, engine overhauls, and system troubleshooting.
Manage parts inventory, sourcing, and procurement.
Provide expert technical guidance to the team.
Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and operational procedures.
Analyze maintenance data to improve preventive programs and fleet reliability.
Mentor and develop technicians at all levels.
Respond to emergency repairs and implement reliability initiatives.
