Growth Marketing Specialist

Muck Rack•Canada, KY
•$65,000 - $75,000•Remote

About The Position

Muck Rack is seeking a detail-oriented, fast-learning Growth Marketing Specialist to help make muckrack.com a high-performing growth engine. The role focuses on web production and measurement: turning campaign briefs and Figma files into live, fast, well-structured pages, and using analytics, attribution, and A/B testing to inform marketing strategy. The specialist will work with design, content, product marketing, engineering, Marketing Ops, and Analytics teams to deliver campaign pages and maintain reliable measurement. Success means campaign pages launch on schedule, analytics and attribution are trustworthy, A/B tests produce clear learnings and iteration, and site releases do not introduce SEO or tracking regressions. The role is remote on a permanently distributed team and requires up to 10% travel for collaboration, customer engagements, and company events, including attendance at the annual company offsite, typically held in Mexico.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in web production, digital marketing, growth marketing, or marketing operations.
  • Hands-on experience building pages in a modern CMS or visual site builder such as Contentful, WordPress, HubSpot, Webflow, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, including building tags, triggers, and events.
  • Comfort with HTML and CSS and ability to read and adapt simple JavaScript.
  • Understanding of funnels and a point of view on why pages do or do not convert.
  • Proactively incorporate AI tools into day-to-day work to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with A/B testing or personalization tools such as Webflow Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, or Convert.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS marketing sites.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Marketo, or Salesforce forms and lead routing.

Responsibilities

  • Build and release landing pages, templates, and site sections in the CMS using Figma files and campaign briefs.
  • Coordinate with design, content, product marketing, and engineering to plan work in sprints according to a quarterly roadmap.
  • QA launches across browsers and devices before publication.
  • Protect site health during releases by managing redirects, canonical tags, metadata, page speed, and accessibility basics.
  • Remediate issues in Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, then build and maintain an event taxonomy, dataLayer, and conversion tracking with Marketing Ops and Analytics teams.
  • Maintain campaign attribution through UTM governance and channel definitions, and identify the source of sessions.
  • Run A/B tests end to end, including hypotheses, variants, instrumentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Turn analytics into clear, digestible insights for marketing stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Home office stipend, phone and internet reimbursement, and coworking membership.
  • Virtual and in-person team bonding activities.
  • Annual compensation reviews for equity and market alignment.
  • Standardized bonus or commission structure.
  • 401(k) with employer contributions.
  • Equity opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance for employees and dependents.
  • 100% premium coverage for individuals on high-deductible plans.
  • 24/7 virtual care and Employee Assistance Program.
  • Employer-funded HSA contributions and other pre-tax benefits.
  • Quarterly wellness stipend and free Headspace subscription.
  • 4+ weeks of PTO, paid sick days, and mental health days.
  • 13 paid holidays, with the option to swap for personal days.
  • Up to 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
  • Internal mobility and promotion pathways, performance reviews, team workshops, and leadership training.
  • Unlimited access to Coursera and O’Reilly.
  • Two additional PTO days annually for learning and development.
