About The Position

As a Growth Intern, you’ll join our Go-To-Market (GTM) team, gaining practical experience in sales, marketing, and customer support. You’ll work directly with customers and contribute to key areas of a startup. If you’re interested in the intersection of technology and people, this role could be a good fit. The Growth team sets the pace for how fast Base can deliver affordable, reliable power to the people who need it. We operate as one team across marketing, sales, support, product, and design, lean and high-ownership. Everything we build comes back to one question: are we solving people's problems? We're building the world's most beloved company. Please note: Base is a startup, which means priorities shift and evolve quickly. Your role may expand or change based on the needs of the business at any given time, so the responsibilities listed may not be exhaustive.

Requirements

  • Interest in customers, sales, and relationship building.
  • Understanding of technology sales and software products.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to provide good customer service and build rapport with clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with HubSpot (or other CRM systems) and Zapier.
  • Relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Help execute go-to-market strategies to improve customer acquisition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Analyze customer interactions using HubSpot and other tools.
  • Work with the sales team to meet targets and improve the process.
  • Research target segments and generate outbound leads.
  • Help launch marketing campaigns to generate inbound leads.
