About The Position

Cogent is a premier Series-A AI startup with a highly differentiated go-to-market strategy. We are seeking a Growth Hacker to join our growing team and contribute to our AI-native vulnerability management platform. This role is crucial for enhancing our account intelligence and intent layers, as well as the automation that drives targeted outreach. The Growth Hacker will work closely with the hiring manager and GTM Engineer to ensure timely and relevant engagement with potential buyers through a combination of digital and field plays. Responsibilities include analyzing data, planning events, and executing campaigns across various channels.

Requirements

  • Creative, analytical, and possesses a get-shit-done attitude.
  • Experience in growth at a B2B or PLG company is ideal.
  • Experience as a former consultant, banker, biz ops, or chief of staff is also considered.
  • Ability to approach growth as a builder, transforming raw signal into compelling plays.
  • Deep HubSpot expertise (or equivalent CRM) with experience architecting lifecycle automation.
  • Comfortable across paid, organic, lifecycle, content, and field marketing.
  • Quantitative rigor, including conversion models, attribution, and experiment design.
  • AI-native with experience building workflows using AI agents.
  • Startup mentality, comfortable with a fast-paced environment that may involve diverse tasks.
  • Cybersecurity experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and translate it into target audiences for plays and campaigns.
  • Operate and extend the signal layer, including intent data, engagement, competitive moves, account intelligence, and event interactions.
  • Build out new signal capabilities and improve existing ones.
  • Synthesize data to build account scoring that prioritizes outreach across the GTM organization.
  • Design plays that target the right buyer at the right moment, utilizing digital, field, or combined approaches.
  • Run rapid experiments with a fast cadence: hypothesis, build, measure, kill or scale.
  • Maintain a play library for sales representatives and partners.
  • Manage lifecycle automation in HubSpot, including lead scoring, routing, nurture, and recycling.
  • Execute targeted campaigns for competitive displacement, market timing, and intent-triggered outreach.
  • Manage paid digital advertising across LinkedIn, Google Search, and AI relevancy campaigns.
  • Implement multi-touch attribution to measure the impact of plays on pipeline.
  • Utilize events as a high-leverage channel for plays requiring in-person execution.
  • Enrich registration lists, identify high-value targets, and brief reps before events.
  • Coordinate in-person execution of plays at events.
  • Build post-event follow-up sequences.
  • Manage the vendor ecosystem and partner with Product Marketing (PMM) on talk tracks.
  • Operate and extend multi-agent systems.
  • Feed the reporting layer to ensure play performance data flows into models.
