About The Position

JCS Solutions is seeking a high-impact Growth Executive to lead business development and capture initiatives across the Department of War (DoW) and national security clients. This role is responsible for identifying, shaping, and advancing strategic opportunities across federal IT, cybersecurity, cloud, data, artificial intelligence, automation, and digital modernization programs. This is a hands-on growth role for a seasoned federal business development professional who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, capture strategy, technology positioning, and mission alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, national security, public policy or related field
  • 10+ years of federal business development, capture, or growth experience with exposure to defense agencies, military service, combatant command or national security customers
  • Demonstrated success managing the full federal capture lifecycle
  • Knowledge of federal procurement and contract vehicles
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions clearly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Existing DoW, DoD or national security customer relationships
  • Experience with AI/ML, cloud, cybersecurity, or digital modernization
  • Knowledge of Defense and national security mission priorities
  • Experience with major federal contract vehicles (GSA MAS, OASIS+, CIO-SP3, Polaris)
  • Capture or proposal experience on pursuits over $10M
  • Active or eligible federal clearance

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities across Department of War, military services, defense agencies, combatant commands, and national security customers, including organizations such as DISA, DIA, NGA, SOCOM, CYBERCOM, and other mission-focused buyers.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality, well-qualified growth pipeline aligned to revenue targets
  • Develop and execute account growth and capture strategies
  • Engage government customers pre-solicitation to understand mission needs and shape opportunities
  • Position AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and data solutions in mission-relevant terms
  • Lead or support capture activities, win strategies, and proposal development
  • Establish and manage strategic teaming partnerships
  • Provide leadership insight into market trends, competitors, and customer priorities
