About The Position

Ladders is seeking an experienced designer who excels at the intersection of product, marketing, conversion optimization, and user experience. This role will own experiences across the company's website, landing pages, e-commerce flows, lifecycle email journeys, and performance marketing creative. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional design craft with a deep understanding of user behavior, experimentation, and business outcomes. A portfolio is required for all applications, with a preference for examples showcasing websites, landing pages, growth experiments, lifecycle experiences, e-commerce flows, performance creative, and measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in design, growth, marketing, or UX/UI design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful website, landing page, e-commerce, email, and design work.
  • Experience with conversion optimization, experimentation, and performance-focused design.
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Dovetail, etc.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior, analytics, and data-informed design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Portfolio Required: Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives and contribute to experimentation and A/B testing programs.
  • Design and optimize website experiences, landing pages, e-commerce flows, lifecycle email journeys, and paid advertising campaigns.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership to improve acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and revenue.
  • Lead user research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and final design execution.
  • Create and iterate on performance marketing creative informed by customer insights and business results.
  • Use analytics, user behavior data, and research findings to inform design decisions.
  • Present design rationale and recommendations to stakeholders across the company.
  • Support implementation and ensure a high-quality user experience from concept through launch.
