About The Position

Nivoda is experiencing rapid growth and is expanding globally. We are seeking a Data Scientist, Growth to develop models, analyses, and decision systems to drive intelligent growth. This role focuses on identifying high-potential leads and customers, predicting conversion and retention, uncovering trends and opportunities, and transforming imperfect data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is strong in modeling, experimentation, segmentation, and commercial problem-solving, with proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data tooling. This is a hands-on role requiring speed, quality, and the ability to operate autonomously in a scale-up environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in data science, applied statistics, growth analytics, machine learning, or a similar role.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience building practical models that influence business decisions.
  • Good understanding of experimentation, statistical reasoning, and measurement.
  • Ability to work with messy, incomplete, or fast-changing data.
  • Strong commercial judgment.
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bias for action, with a high quality bar.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a scale-up environment.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to increase impact, such as moving faster, writing better code, exploring ideas, reducing manual work, and challenging assumptions.

Nice To Haves

  • Marketplace, B2B, SMB, logistics, fintech, e-commerce, or high-growth scale-up experience.
  • Experience with lead scoring, propensity modelling, churn prediction, activation modelling, segmentation, or LTV modelling.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing, product, or commercial data.
  • Experience with Snowflake, dbt, HubSpot, Salesforce, or modern data/ML workflows.
  • Experience partnering with Growth, Sales, Marketing, Product, or Revenue Operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve scoring models for lead scoring, activation prediction, churn risk, expansion potential, customer segmentation, and opportunity prioritization to help Growth, Sales, and Marketing focus their efforts effectively.
  • Analyze customer, marketplace, CRM, marketing, and commercial data to identify patterns, understand performance, and recommend next steps, turning messy data into clear recommendations.
  • Support Growth and Product teams in designing experiments, defining success metrics, interpreting results, and understanding uncertainty, working with imperfect real-world data.
  • Write strong SQL and Python, work with data in Snowflake, create reproducible datasets, and build lightweight workflows that can be productionized.
  • Drive business decisions through data science work, influencing sales prioritization, lifecycle targeting, customer segmentation, growth strategy, and identifying ineffective initiatives.
