About The Position

Magic is a leading modern outsourcing platform that connects SMBs to high-quality remote workers, from SDRs to virtual assistants and more. With roots in Silicon Valley and backing from top venture capitalists, our workers are supercharged with a combination of the latest AI technology and training. Our company came out of Y Combinator in 2015. Since then we've grown to 1000+ remote workers, with strong venture-backing (including Sequoia Capital) and over $30M in funding to date. We are fully remote across Asia and US time zones. This role is built for candidates from startup/scale-up backgrounds who want growth in earnings, skill, and career path. Top performers hit 80–150% of monthly target consistently. At 100% quota: $3,500–$4,500/month. At 150%+: $5,000+/month. Paid monthly, in USD, regardless of where you're based.

Requirements

  • English at C1 or C2 — clear, confident, natural with U.S. buyers
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets — any industry, B2B or B2C
  • CRM discipline — HubSpot or equivalent
  • Available Monday–Friday during US Eastern or Central hours
  • Stable home internet (min. 40 Mbps) for daily video calls
  • Mindset: Hungry · Gritty · Coachable · Accountable
  • Outbound sales — cold calling, SDR/BDR with a track record of booking and closing, field sales, door-to-door, telesales
  • B2C closing — insurance, real estate, financial products, automotive, telecom, retail finance. You closed deals face-to-face or over the phone, and you hit numbers.
  • BPO sales — outbound or upselling roles at a call center with U.S. client exposure
  • SDR/BDR promoted to AE — you've already made the jump, or you're ready to make it now
  • Any sales role where rejection was part of the job and you showed up anyway

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle — from inbound discovery call through close and onboarding handoff
  • Uncover pain, establish urgency, match the right Magic product to each prospect's needs
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline with discipline
  • Collaborate with Support and Ops so clients start strong and stay happy
  • Treat coaching as part of the job — apply feedback fast
  • 2–8 discovery calls a day, never dropping a follow-up
  • 15+ quality discovery calls per week with C-level and Director-level prospects
  • Every "not now" treated as a future win — patient, creative, persistent
  • CRM always clean, next steps always set, nothing falls through the cracks
  • Quota hit monthly, treating growth — yours and the pipeline's — as part of the job

  • Sales Director (3+ years): Oversee sales operations, drive go-to-market strategy, partner with leadership on growth
