The Group Supervisor is responsible for planning and implementing daily activities and is responsible to the Site Director/Kindergarten Teacher. This role involves planning and implementing daily program activities, ensuring monthly observations are recorded for each child, and completing formal assessments twice per academic school year. The Group Supervisor develops daily lesson plans, coordinates activities with the Assistant Group Supervisor, and plans free play and structured learning activities. Communication with parents and staff is key, as is setting clear rules and expectations for children's behavior. The role also includes participating in group activities with children, encouraging and supporting them, and assisting the Site Director in ensuring all policies and regulations are met. Maintaining a healthy classroom environment, including hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and security, is crucial. The position requires attending monthly staff meetings and completing annual training, including Fire Safety, EOP, and CPR/Pediatric First Aid.
