About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Group Supervisor at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center (DJTC) in Dermott, Arkansas. DJTC is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth ages 18-21. Through trained programming for staff, DJTC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, medical and an outdoor recreation area. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. As a Group Supervisor, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.

Requirements

• Internal applicants must have completed Youth Care 101 and Essentials Subjects
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 1 year of experience working at-risk youth
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
• Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience is preferred
