About The Position

Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Group Sales Agent to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As a Group Sales Agent, you will be responsible for generating new sales, maximizing margins, maintaining file quality, and growing customer loyalty through service excellence. Professional, helpful, and friendly communication with customers is required, both written and by phone. This position reports to the Group Sales Supervisor and is based in Laval, QC.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of customer service or related experience
Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of working directly with customers
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
Demonstrates initiative with problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work well under pressure, be flexible, reliable, and prioritize workload
Experience with Microsoft Office (email, Word, Excel)
OPC/TICO certification is required

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Soft Voyage TTS is an asset

Responsibilities

Respond to incoming calls and assist customers with product and service inquiries
Upsell and cross-sell on each call
Sell optional extras such as group seating, Elite Plus, excursions, gift certificates, and insurance
Respond to incoming emails regarding group rate requests in a professional and timely manner
Fill in for Group Sales Representatives during absences as directed by the Supervisor
Maintain product knowledge and participate in ongoing training
Other duties as assigned
