About The Position

Nexus Family Healing is seeking a Group Marketing Manager to join its Marketing and Communication team. For over 50 years, Nexus has been dedicated to empowering children, families, and adults, growing from a single program into a nationally recognized network across five states. As a leader in youth and family mental health, Nexus aims to close gaps in care and create brighter futures. This full-time, hybrid role, based in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area, involves directing marketing communications professionals to develop and implement marketing plans for a portfolio of Nexus agencies, supporting awareness, engagement, and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of multi-disciplinary marketing experience.
  • 3+ years account management or client relations.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory or mentorship experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop team members.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing planning and implementing a marketing campaign.
  • Experience in behavior health, social services and or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a portfolio of agency marketing plans that drive awareness and generate leads for our services.
  • Serve as the primary strategic marketing contact for a portfolio of agencies across Nexus.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of agency and client needs and apply this knowledge to develop and execute effective marketing and communication strategies that lead others to our services.
  • Direct team members on multiple projects, on-going marketing efforts and the launch of new programs and services including media buys, social media channels, branding, collateral, website presence, media relations and stakeholder communications and strives to meet projects on time and within budget.
  • Identify and monitor KPIs and use insights and data, to analyze referral sources and the recruitment process of foster parents and program clients.
  • Define opportunities for additional outreach or improvement in this space.
  • Work closely with agency leadership and the admissions team to understand needs, opportunities, or barriers to acquisition.
  • Identify opportunities across agencies for cross-promotion of services to stakeholders, and collaboration and streamlining of team efforts.
  • Manage marketing budgets for specific service lines and agencies, working with agency leadership on a yearly basis to establish budgets that align with agency goals.
  • Build relationships with key industry partners and communities we serve.
  • Identify key community stakeholders and partners across managed portfolio who are an integral part of our ecosystem such as foster parents, industry partners, community partners and media and develops on-going outreach efforts.
  • Support the development team by raising awareness for our organization and providing marketing support to development initiatives including development, marketing and fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Support leaders in legislative efforts as it relates to marketing and communication needs.
  • Support Sr. Director of Marketing and Strategy on media outreach efforts to garner earned media within agency communities.
  • Increase visibility of our organization and our expertise through targeted outreach and development of content marketing using tools such as webinars, podcasts, blogs, infographics, speaking engagements and community events.
  • Lead team resources in identifying opportunities for key staff to raise profile in our communities as thought leaders.
  • Evaluate and coordinate event and speaking engagement opportunities and industry presence and works with subject matter experts to develop presentations and collateral to be used at internal and external events.
  • Identify impact stories across the portfolio on a regular basis.
  • Lead assigned marketing initiatives for overall Nexus Family Healing organization.
  • Drive key marketing initiatives, products, processes that provide service, and elevate Nexus brand and our function within the organization.
  • Uphold organizational brand standards and actively participate in brand evolution as needed.
  • Act as marcom lead for rollout of new programs and agencies.
  • Research new and emerging marketing channels, techniques and approaches; seeks out and learns new skills to enhance the performance of the marketing team and department.
  • Ensure effective allocation of team resources to meet organizational needs.
