This role supports organizational/departmental projects and provides leadership within facilities management. The Group Leader is responsible for monitoring technical equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and developing preventive maintenance processes for facility infrastructure. They will prepare project documentation, supervise contractors, and manage vendor relationships. This position also involves setting up internal communication, evaluating proposals, and ensuring compliance with safety, engineering, and environmental regulations. Additionally, the role is responsible for facility, infrastructure, and property security, including researching and complying with relevant laws and building codes. The Group Leader will also handle disciplinary actions for direct reports, act as a role model, prepare budgets, monitor cost centers, determine staffing needs, and manage employee performance.
