Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills required.
  • Three (3) years manufacturing experience with preference in equipment assembly or high speed equipment operation.
  • Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Sufficient Manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
  • Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts products.
  • Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
  • Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently.

  • preference in equipment assembly or high speed equipment operation

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining control over the production line at all times which may require close interaction with Mfg. Engineering, Maintenance and Quality.
  • Ensure all daily production activities are thoroughly communicated to Supervisors.
  • May be required to perform tasks associated with troubleshooting product quality and performance.
  • Maintain the production line in a safe, neat, clean and organized environment.
  • Assist as needed on the production line.
  • Respect work hours, support production goals and time-tables, which may require overtime.
  • Utilizing knowledge of ISO14000 & TS16949 ensures all associates follow procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure all production, scrap, and down time reports are completed properly and timely.
  • Ensure product and/or component dimensions are checked via in-process inspection check sheets with use of various indicators and gauges as described in procedures or work instructions.
  • Monitor equipment for unusual sounds, movements or appearance that may indicate problems.
  • Address any abnormalities.
  • Changing of simple parts and fixtures to facilitate changeover of product types.
  • Visually and manually check for defects in product or workmanship.
  • Recording of process equipment settings and conditions using equipment verification check sheets.
