Requirements
- At least five years of applicable experience
- Solid computer, math, and reading skills
- Capable of leading projects and project teams
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes
- Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standard
- 6 months-1 year Materials Group
- Ability to build team morale and promote people first culture.
- Innovative/creative thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technology proficient.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of Material support to meet daily and weekly material KPI.
- Ensure all team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules.
- Assign work tasks, monitor progress, and provide real-time feedback to maintain productivity and quality.
- Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, processes, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records of material data, downtime, and material usage.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and suggesting process or workflow enhancements.
- Communicate effectively with material activities.
- Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained in the work area.
- Perform trailer dock management process inbound and outbound.
- Manage line area support for your assigned district.
- Complete End of Shift Audit for next shift start-up.
