Requirements

At least five years of applicable experience
Solid computer, math, and reading skills
Capable of leading projects and project teams
Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes
Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standard
6 months-1 year Materials Group experience
Ability to build team morale and promote people first culture.
Innovative/creative thinking.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Technology proficient.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a team of Material support to meet daily and weekly material KPI.
Ensure all team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules.
Assign work tasks, monitor progress, and provide real-time feedback to maintain productivity and quality.
Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, processes, and safety practices.
Maintain accurate records of material data, downtime, and material usage.
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and suggesting process or workflow enhancements.
Communicate effectively with material activities.
Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained in the work area.
Perform trailer dock management process inbound and outbound.
Manage line area support for your assigned district.
Complete End of Shift Audit for next shift start-up.
