Requirements

  • At least five years of applicable experience
  • Solid computer, math, and reading skills
  • Capable of leading projects and project teams
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes
  • Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standard
  • 6 months-1 year Materials Group experience
  • Ability to build team morale and promote people first culture.
  • Innovative/creative thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technology proficient.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of Material support to meet daily and weekly material KPI.
  • Ensure all team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules.
  • Assign work tasks, monitor progress, and provide real-time feedback to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, processes, and safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of material data, downtime, and material usage.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and suggesting process or workflow enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with material activities.
  • Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained in the work area.
  • Perform trailer dock management process inbound and outbound.
  • Manage line area support for your assigned district.
  • Complete End of Shift Audit for next shift start-up.
