About The Position
Sevita is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Group Home Caregivers in Louisa, KY. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals, helping them grow, learn, and live fulfilling lives. You will develop meaningful relationships with the people you serve, assist them with personal hygiene, and support their developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Requirements
- Full valid Driver's license held for 12 months post permit (Intermediate and Learner’s Permits DO NOT qualify).
- Reliable and registered vehicle with proof of insurance used to transport clients.
- If younger than 21 YO, High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Support individuals with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
- Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
