Group Fitness Instructor (flexible, as-needed)
About The Position
HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is hiring Group Fitness Instructors of all specialties for a client site in Jersey City, New Jersey. The instructor leads fun, effective, and safe group exercise classes that energize and inspire members. Class formats may include dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit training. The role requires current group exercise instructor certification, Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and the ability to use electronic onboarding and timecard systems. Two or more years of group exercise instruction experience are strongly preferred. Compensation is $60–$80 per hour; the final wage offer depends on location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or another NCCA-accredited specialty class certification.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
