About The Position

Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most beautiful private clubs in North America, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to join our elite team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional experiences for our members and guests through instructing group fitness classes to include, but not limited to, Step, Group Cycling, Yoga, Low Impact, Body Sculpting, Yoga, Circuit Training and Water. The ideal candidate will be a team player and committed to delivering excellence. Possesses exceptional people skills and strong knowledge of health, fitness, wellness, and recreation. Must have at least 1 year experience teaching group fitness classes and holds a current Group Fitness Instructor Certification. Prior high-end country club or resort experience is a plus. Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a team player and committed to delivering excellence.
Possesses exceptional people skills and strong knowledge of health, fitness, wellness, and recreation.
Must have at least 1 year experience teaching group fitness classes and holds a current Group Fitness Instructor Certification.

Nice To Haves

Prior high-end country club or resort experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Instruct classes as approved by the Director of Fitness & Wellness.
Perform bike fit checks for those in group cycle classes per specific protocols.
Maintain aerobics studio cleanliness, ensure equipment is put away as appropriate.
Notify Director of Fitness and Wellness (or Group Exercise Coordinator) of needed equipment repairs or replacements.
Maintain accurate records of class counts.
Maintain a professional relationship with all members, guests, and team members.
Responsible for maintaining standard operating procedures and all club policies and procedures.
Stay abreast and promote all on-going and up-coming programs and activities.
Attend staff meetings.
Other duties as assigned by management.
