About The Position

Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor for a Flexi Rotating Schedule. This role is responsible for delivering a safe, fun, and healthy experience for members and guests by leading and instructing various group exercise programs and classes. Instructors are expected to create a welcoming and positive environment, answer questions, provide education, and identify and implement improvements in activities, processes, and programs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Ability to teach step
  • Fitness Instructor (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Delivering a safe, fun and healthy member and guest experience by leading and instructing different group exercise programs and classes
  • Creating a welcoming and positive experience for Wellness Center members and guests by answering questions and providing education
