About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a full-time Group Facilitator for its detox and residential treatment facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The facilitator conducts group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to clients’ challenges and needs, and helps clients build healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools. The role collaborates with clinical staff to monitor client challenges and progress, escalates significant client concerns to the Clinical Director, maintains thorough documentation of group sessions, and ensures clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.

Requirements

• Current Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential: CADAC I–V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in Indiana.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgment.
• Warm, dignified, and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in the treatment industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to the Clinical Director.

• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed.
