Group Exercise Instructor
About The Position
The Group Exercise Instructor teaches safe and effective exercise classes for clients of all levels. The instructor maintains required education and certifications, follows club and company policies and procedures, and provides professional, customer-focused service. The role also includes demonstrating knowledge of the Crunch brand and modeling behavior consistent with the Crunch mission statement. The job description may be subject to change or alteration at any time. The instructor follows sign-in and sign-out procedures, handles member requests or forwards them to a manager, and attends monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
Requirements
- Maintain valid CPR certification.
- Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Nationally accredited aerobic certification, such as AFAA, ACE, or NASM.
- Valid Yoga or Pilates certification is also acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.

- Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
- Follow all club and facility policies and procedures.
- Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
- Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
