Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have and maintain valid and current certifications outlined by position; certifications an include: ACE/YMCA, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or NETA.
- Ability to relate to, welcome and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in the health and fitness field is preferred.
- One year of group exercise instruction or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build effective authentic relationships with members and help to connect them with each other.
- Adhere to appropriate and safe class structure, including all health and fitness components, and recognize when participants need assistance, acting promptly to help them.
- Lead energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes as well as answer questions from participants to support them in their goals.
