Requirements

Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School education or equivalent preferred.
6 months or 60 hours of practical experience of group exercise class experience.
Must be able to lift in excess of ten pounds.
Certification in group exercise instruction from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM).
Strong knowledge of exercise techniques and principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire individuals in a group setting.

Nice To Haves

Experience in leading group fitness classes preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver a variety of group exercise classes, including but not limited to aerobics, yoga, pilates, and strength training.
Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and fosters community.
Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate participants' varying fitness levels and abilities.
Monitor participants' form and technique to ensure safety and effectiveness during workouts.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm during classes.
Stay updated on fitness trends and continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills.
Promote classes and engage with participants to build a loyal following.
Help others achieve their health and wellness goals.
