About The Position

The Group Director, Supply Side Excellence will lead the supply-side strategy across programmatic and out-of-home inventory, driving revenue growth, supply path optimization, and commercial performance. This role is highly technical and vendor-facing, with a strong emphasis on DSP/SSP expertise, partnership management, negotiation, and identifying new supply-side revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will be commercially sharp, technically strong, and experienced in managing supply-side relationships across a complex omnichannel environment.

Requirements

  • Deep technical knowledge of DSPs and SSPs.
  • Strong understanding of digital supply, inventory dynamics, and programmatic trading.
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience delivering supply-side revenue growth and efficiency improvements.
  • Strong understanding of supply path optimization (SPO).
  • Ability to work across multiple channels in an omnichannel environment.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and able to identify value in day-to-day work.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a DSP, SSP, ad tech platform, or in a supply-side commercial role.
  • Exposure to platforms such as PubMatic, Index Exchange, Amazon, Yahoo, or The Trade Desk would be highly relevant.
  • Experience working across programmatic and out-of-home supply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Side Excellence function across programmatic and out-of-home supply.
  • Manage and develop a team of Directors and Senior Managers, providing leadership and performance direction.
  • Oversee supply-side partnerships with DSPs, SSPs, and technology vendors.
  • Identify and unlock supply-side revenue streams and commercial opportunities.
  • Drive supply path optimization (SPO) initiatives to improve efficiency, margin, and supply quality.
  • Negotiate with DSPs, SSPs, and other technology partners to secure commercial advantages, incentives, and incremental revenue.
  • Work closely with the investment team to align supply strategy with vendor deals and commercial opportunities.
  • Partner with programmatic and out-of-home teams to route inventory and enable best-use supply solutions.
  • Support internal teams with DSP/SSP training, best-practice guidance, and use-case recommendations.
  • Monitor supply performance and identify opportunities to scale inventory effectively across channels.
  • Contribute to a broader omnichannel supply strategy, including CTV, display, and out-of-home.
  • Maintain a strong focus on revenue targets, efficiency, and margin improvement.
