About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead for Inventory Control. This role involves physically reconciling and verifying inventory, compiling and analyzing reports, and acting as an interface between customer support, suppliers, and customer management on inventory issues. The position also includes assigning work schedules, training associates, and monitoring their progress. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be comfortable managing workloads, and possess good communication and problem-solving skills. This role is crucial for accurate cycle counts, auditing, and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
  • Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
  • Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
  • Working knowledge of SAP inventory
  • Must be comfortable starting out in Mechanicsburg and then permanently moving to Annville in August.
  • Major attention to detail.
  • Manage work load.
  • Schedule and plan labor and movement of associates to daily tasks.
  • Provide input to management team on improvements or call outs.
  • Customer communications and email communications.
  • Problem resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Physically reconcile/verify raw and finished good inventory of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL.
  • Compile/analyze reports and complete physical inventory.
  • Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers, and customer management on inventory issues for resolution.
  • Assign work schedules, train associates, and monitor associates’ progress.
  • Perform the duties of an inventory control coordinator.
  • Reconciliation and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
  • Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
  • Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
  • Monitor IDOC (failed transactions) in SAP and physically reconcile discrepancies.
  • Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
  • Physically investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.
  • Conduct training for new associates.
  • Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
  • Process orders if necessary. Pick, Audit, and Pack.
  • Float around to different functions throughout the facility.
  • Use email and teams as necessary.
  • Utilize a WMS to manage work and perform daily functions.
