About The Position
We are seeking a dependable CDL Groundsman to join our tree care team. This position supports tree crews by performing ground operations, operating equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and transporting crews and equipment to job sites. The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, enjoys working outdoors, and is committed to safety and teamwork.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Class A or B preferred).
- Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist tree crews with ground operations during tree trimming and removal projects.
- Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and other equipment safely.
- Drive and maneuver CDL-required vehicles and equipment to and from job sites.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and debris.
- Direct traffic and establish safe work zones as needed.
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and industry standards.
