About The Position
Arbor Bay Tree Service is urgently hiring a Groundsman to support their tree care operations. This is a full-time, hands-on, physical role perfect for someone who enjoys hard work, teamwork, and learning valuable skills in the tree service and landscaping industry. The Groundsman will assist climbers, handle ropes, operate chippers, and maintain a safe, clean worksite. The company is looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals ready to grow in their career.
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing labor-intensive tasks.
- Strong attention to safety, communication, and teamwork.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in tree service, landscaping, or groundskeeping is a plus, but not required—training provided!
Responsibilities
- Assist tree climbers and crew leaders with tree removal, trimming, and pruning services.
- Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, ropes, and other tree service equipment.
- Drag, chip, and stack brush, logs, and debris from residential and commercial properties.
- Perform ground-level rigging and rope management during tree cutting operations.
- Ensure each property and job site is clean, safe, and well-maintained after completion.
