About The Position

Assures that Hospital grounds are clear of trash and other debris, and free of animals, animal nests, and other animal residue. Operates and maintains the Automatic Lawn Sprinkler system and verifies the operation of Program Controllers. Performs groundskeeping duties in areas not covered under the Landscaping Contract, and operates and maintains Lawn Care tools and equipment, verifying they are in proper operational condition. Removes snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots during the winter season.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be at least 20 years old in order to operate vehicles for insurance purposes.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational Education in Grounds Maintenance
• Two years experience in grounds maintenance for facility with 10+ acres.
