About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our outdoor spaces for the summer (through September 30th). This role plays an important part in creating a welcoming, well-kept environment by ensuring lawns, landscaping, and exterior areas are cared for year-round.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture preferred
Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable performing physical labor in outdoor conditions
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Mow, edge, trim, and water lawns and landscaped areas
Plant, prune, fertilize, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf
Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and debris from grounds and walkways
Inspect grounds regularly and report safety hazards or maintenance needs
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, and irrigation adjustments
Assist with setup and breakdown of outdoor events as needed
Follow all safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment
Comply with organizational policies, including the Compliance Program Plan and Code of Conduct
Perform other related duties as assigned
