About The Position

The Groundskeeper position at Heritage Villas in Coeur d'Alene is responsible for the overall maintenance and care of the grounds, parking areas, and common area facilities to ensure they remain clean and orderly at all times. This role operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule and reports to the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to maintain clean and orderly grounds, parking areas, and common area facilities.
Proficiency in cleaning and polishing various surfaces and fixtures.
Skill in floor care, including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
Experience in cleaning upholstery, carpets, and draperies.
Ability to dust furniture and equipment.
Competence in washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Capability to manage waste disposal, including emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash.
Ability to replenish bathroom supplies.
Skill in replacing light bulbs.
Proficiency in groundskeeping tasks such as cutting grass and shoveling snow.
Ability to deliver messages and transport equipment/tools.
Willingness to attend meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and empty/clean ashtrays.
Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Replace light bulbs.
Cut and trim grass and shovel snow.
Deliver messages.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
Attend and participate in regular meetings and training, as assigned.
