About The Position

The Groundskeeper helps maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of a multifamily community, contributing to a welcoming and well-kept environment for residents and visitors. The Groundskeeper plays an important role in creating a positive first impression and enhancing the day-to-day experience for residents and guests. By maintaining curb appeal and clean outdoor spaces, this role directly supports community pride, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered
Must have a valid driver's license
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, attractive environments
Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience is a plus
Basic familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain lawns, landscaping, and outdoor areas through mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and weeding
Keep common areas, parking lots, walkways, and amenities clean and free of debris
Perform regular trash collection, sweeping, and pressure washing as needed
Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify safety hazards or maintenance concerns
Support seasonal maintenance activities, including snow removal and seasonal landscaping
Assist with preparing vacant apartments and common areas for readiness as needed
Maintain landscaping tools and equipment in safe, working condition
Support the maintenance team with additional tasks as assigned
