About The Position

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is a luxury hotel located within the 200-acre Viking Lakes mixed-use development, which also includes the Minnesota Vikings headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, and TCO Stadium. The hotel offers extensive indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces, multiple dining options, a spa, and fitness facilities. The Groundskeeper role is essential for maintaining the outdoor hotel property and ensuring the pool and spa areas are kept in excellent condition.

Requirements

• Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
• Working knowledge of pool chemistry.
• May be required to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
• May be required to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all outdoor hotel property, including sidewalks, trash, leaves, trees, and flowers.
• Maintain pool and spas.
• Keep the hotel property in good condition.
• Ensure proper stock of chemicals for the pool and spa.
• Maintain the hotel pool, spa, and pool/spa deck.
• Perform daily setup of furniture throughout the property.
• Operate a power washer.
• Operate a leaf blower.
