About The Position

The Groundskeeper plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operations of company-owned assets, ensuring all facilities are in top shape. From Keeping the property polished, fixing up any issues as they arise, to performing minor repairs, an attention to detail helps create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff. This position does require some travel within a specific District at multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older.
  • Must have reliable transportation in all seasons.
  • Able to spring into action on weekends and evenings, when needed, and shift gears quickly.
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 80 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.
  • Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in landscaping and light maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean fuel and oil spills, change liners, and empty trash from all outdoor cans, including those at fuel islands and parking areas, ensuring everything stays spick and span.
  • Maintain the car and diesel islands by replacing windshield washer fluid, replenishing towels, and keeping dispensers wiped down.
  • Check pole lights and signage, provide necessary supply lists, and handle monthly tasks like pressure washing fuel islands and replacing air filters.
  • Keep entryways, walkways, and pathways tidy, free from debris, weeds, and snow, ensuring safe and smooth travels year-round.
  • Perform deep cleaning of dispensers, maintain outside windows, and handle minor repairs like replacing burnt-out lights and cleaning refrigeration coils.
  • Respond to snow and rain events by plowing, shoveling, and pumping water from basins.
