About The Position
The Groundskeeper position performs semi-skilled grounds maintenance duties, utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. This position performs maintenance activities to include mowing, turf maintenance, planting, fertilizing and trimming trees and other vegetation. Picks up litter and trash; repairs sprinkler and irrigation systems and other ground maintenance duties as assigned. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in FSS Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.
Requirements
- California Driver's license required.
Nice To Haves
- At least 5 years Grounds maintenance and operations experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
