About The Position

Dunwoody Village, a five-star rated continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Newtown Square is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated for a full-time groundskeeper. The standard shift is from 6:30AM-2:30PM Monday through Friday. The groundskeeper is responsible for mulching, fertilizing, weeding, planting, pruning, shoveling, snow/leaf removal, and litter removal on the property. This role also involves the operation of landscape equipment and installation of seasonal decorations. A valid PA driver's license is required to drive equipment and operate the truck with a snowplow during winter weather. Various other duties will be assigned by the Grounds Supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions
• Availability during non-standard hours during significant winter weather events
• Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, climb, bend
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, 50+ lbs
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others
• Must be at least 18 years old in order to use equipment on property
• Valid PA driver's license
• Clean driver's record
• Satisfactory references
• Influenza record
