About The Position

As a Groundskeeper at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll be the steward of our community’s outdoor spaces, ensuring they always look their best and feel welcoming to residents and guests alike. This role involves maintaining the landscaping and overall appearance of the property’s outdoor areas, including lawns, flower beds, walkways, and recreational spaces. You will perform regular tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and watering, and keep outdoor areas clean and free of debris, including trash pickup and snow removal as needed. You will also monitor and maintain irrigation systems, assist with seasonal landscaping projects, and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager. Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment is also a key part of the role, ensuring tools are in good working condition. Support for the maintenance team with special projects or tasks as requested is expected, and physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Enjoy working outdoors.
  • Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a similar role.
  • A keen eye for detail and take pride in creating beautiful, well-maintained spaces.
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable and adaptable, ready to tackle tasks as priorities shift.
  • Comfortable using landscaping tools and equipment and can follow safety protocols.
  • Ready to handle tasks that require lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities
