About The Position
Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable, hardworking Groundskeeper to support two of our North Dallas apartment communities: Creekside at Pear Ridge and Gates de Provence. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in keeping communities clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents and guests.
Requirements
- 1+ year of groundskeeping, landscaping, janitorial, maintenance, or similar experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs and ladders
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Reliable transportation between both communities
- Must live within approximately 20 minutes of ZIP code 75287
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of both communities
- Perform daily inspections of grounds and common areas
- Pick up and remove trash and debris throughout the communities
- Keep sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and outdoor spaces clean
- Perform pressure washing and other routine cleaning
- Assist with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Help maintain strong curb appeal throughout both communities
- Properly use and store equipment, tools, and materials
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Assist the maintenance teams with projects as needed
- Provide professional and courteous service to residents and guests
