About The Position

Roundhouse is hiring a full-time, on-site Groundskeeper at Snowfarm Apartments in Missoula, Montana. The Groundskeeper keeps the community’s exterior areas clean, safe, and well-maintained, taking initiative to identify and address needs. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an on-call rotation. Compensation is $20.00–$21.00 per hour, plus commission potential, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and a team player.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Experience with groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections to keep sidewalks, curbs, walkways, parking lots, and building exteriors clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Sweep and blow common areas, removing trash, debris, and pet waste as needed.
• Keep courtyards, swimming pools, and outdoor grilling areas clean and presentable.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months.
• Perform light maintenance, such as replacing bulbs, touching up paint, and maintaining exterior surfaces.
• Promptly report maintenance needs and safety concerns to the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, and properly store materials after use.
• Complete assigned groundskeeping tasks on time in maintenance software.
• Follow safety procedures in the Employee Handbook, operational SOPs, OSHA standards, and on-equipment labels.
• Represent Roundhouse with a professional, welcoming presence.
