About The Position

The Groundskeeper maintains the clean, neat, and aesthetically appealing condition of assigned areas, with a focus on the property's exterior and grounds. The role also supports KW Property Management & Consulting's mission and GREAT values through respectful, enthusiastic, accountable, and trustworthy conduct in daily work.

Requirements

At least two years of experience working in groundskeeping or janitorial work.
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products.
Ability to react to and address emergency situations in a timely manner.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with and around chemical cleaning solutions.
Ability to stand for extended periods; walk and climb stairs and ladders; crawl in small or tight spaces; stoop or kneel; and lift, move, or carry 20 pounds or more.
Ability to handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment; reach with hands and arms; navigate the property or building as needed; and repeat motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Responsibilities

Empty and clean ashtrays and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors and common areas using appropriate manual or powered equipment.
Keep storage areas and carts stocked, clean, and tidy.
Complete required forms and work orders.
Inspect common areas and maintain their cleanliness and appearance, including painting when necessary.
Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition.
Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
Wash outdoor walls, ceilings, and woodwork; wax and polish as necessary.
Report maintenance issues, such as burned-out lights, leaks, and broken equipment, to the Building Maintenance Department.
Take precautions to protect residents, guests, and property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
Use new equipment properly and follow safety procedures before operating it.
Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
