About The Position

FCI Residential is a part of Florida Crystals Corporation’s real estate division, which focuses on multi-family residential development in urban and in-fill areas. The real estate division currently has approximately 5,500 units in the development process throughout Florida.

Requirements

  • Honesty, integrity, competence, professionalism and drive.
  • Works professionally as part of a team as well as completing assignments independently.
  • Willingness to pitch in and work in areas other than strictly grounds keeping i.e., janitorial, painting etc.
  • Ability to assist the Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager in his/her duties as needed.
  • English required (bi-lingual a plus).

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for always providing excellent curb appeal.
  • Daily cleaning of building exteriors, breezeways and hallways including light fixtures, mailbox area, fire extinguisher boxes, entry doors, stairs and railings.
  • Remove all debris throughout the community including amenities, walkways, community entrance, model, show apartments and Leasing Office daily.
  • Clean amenity restrooms and restock supplies.
  • Compactors and trash chutes are cleaned in the mornings and maintained throughout the day.
  • Assist maintenance team with periodic scheduled preventative maintenance programs.
  • Responsible for helping to keep a neat, orderly, and safe workshop.
  • Advise Maintenance Supervisor when in need of supplies.
  • Take action or inform the Maintenance Supervisor of any areas needing special attention or correction (unhealthy plants, sod, trees etc.).
  • Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and always ensuring a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Responsible for knowledge of management company and community policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of all equipment and supplies owned by the community.
  • Complete required training courses either online or in person meetings.
  • Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies. Attend monthly Safety Trainings. Report any hazardous or risk liability situations to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
