Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their operation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of the chemical composition and properties of various substances for effective application of fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow simple oral and written instructions.
  • Proficiency in making minor repairs and adjustments to cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to identify causes of operating errors and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to carry out repairs with the necessary tools.
  • Must pass a thorough criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and emptying trash to promote a tidy environment.
  • Caring for established lawns through mulching, aerating, weeding, and removing thatch.
  • Trimming and edging around flower beds, walkways, and walls to enhance aesthetic appeal.
  • Maintaining irrigation systems, ensuring they function efficiently by winterizing them in colder months and starting them up in spring.
  • Mixing and applying fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides to promote healthy growth of grass, shrubs, and trees.
  • Inspecting equipment and structures to identify and resolve any issues, contributing to the overall safety and quality of our community spaces.
