About The Position

Our client is looking for Groundskeepers to work on the campus of their private school in Jacksonville. Because this job is on school grounds, it requires a clean background, ability to pass a drug test as well as fingerprinting before you will be able to start.

Requirements

Must have a clean background.
Must be willing to take a drug test.
Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting.
Ability to commute/relocate to Jacksonville, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Must have your own reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
Driver's License (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and landscapes.
Operate power tools and hand tools to trim, mow, edge, and prune vegetation.
Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the appearance of outdoor spaces.
Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper watering of plants.
Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor areas.
Monitor and report any issues or damages to outdoor structures or equipment.
Keep all common areas clean, emptying trash receptacles as well as picking up trash.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
