Groundskeeper
About The Position
Assures that Hospital grounds are clear of trash and other debris, and free of animals, animal nests, and other animal residue. This role involves operating and maintaining the automatic lawn sprinkler system and verifying the operation of program controllers. The Groundskeeper performs duties in areas not covered by the Landscaping Contract, operates and maintains lawn care tools and equipment, and ensures all equipment and tools are in proper working condition. Additionally, this position is responsible for snow and ice removal from sidewalks and parking lots during the winter season.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must be at least 20 years old in order to operate vehicles.
Nice To Haves
- Vocational Education in Grounds Maintenance
- Two years experience in grounds maintenance for facility with 10+ acres.
Responsibilities
