Groundskeeper/ Delray Beach
About The Position
The Groundskeeper performs general grounds maintenance and upkeep of common property and facilities, including pool areas. Duties include yard waste cleanup and removal, clearing pathways, sidewalks, and parking lots, routine plant maintenance, minor property repairs, and inspecting the property. The role also includes keeping the property, landscaping, and management office clean, completing preventative tasks, replacing common-area lightbulbs, performing light painting, and providing updates on work orders and daily tasks while coordinating with the on-site team. Other duties may be assigned by the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Highly reliable and punctual.
- Strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience maintaining and repairing irrigation systems.
- Groundskeeping experience, preferably in a condominium, HOA, or residential setting.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain common property and facilities, including the pool area.
- Pick up debris and remove trash around the property.
- Inspect the property daily and keep the property, landscaping, and management office clean.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Replace lightbulbs in common areas.
- Perform light painting duties as necessary.
- Provide progress updates on work orders and daily tasks and coordinate with the on-site team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager.
