About The Position

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Groundskeeper to join our team at our beautiful Authentix Quincy Street residential apartment community in Holland Charter Township, MI. You will provide above and beyond customer service and an unmatched level of personal attention to residents. You will maintain the appearance of apartment communities and ensure new homes are ready for resident move-in by creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate basic equipment such as blowers, mowers, pressure washers, vacuums, etc.
  • Ability to work overtime and on call, and a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Take pride in the property's overall appearance by regularly walking the grounds to ensure top-notch curb appeal, while delivering outstanding customer service with a courteous, professional approach in every interaction.
  • A team player with a 'no task is too small' mindset! Willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to keep the community looking great and residents happy, even when the work isn't glamorous.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property by performing grounds upkeep, pressure washing, maintaining cleanliness of dumpster areas and pet stations, trash removal, and stepping in for additional needs like unit touch-ups and snow removal (in applicable states).
  • Help maintain landscaping including watering, planting, mulching, and pruning shrubs.
  • Stock refreshments as needed in common areas.
