About The Position
Join our team at Spirit of the Heavens in Sedona, AZ, as a full-time Nature Resort Groundskeeper – Maintenance Tech. This role is committed to ensuring our beautiful landscapes are well-kept and welcoming for all guests. You will start each day surrounded by red rock views and the sounds of nature, taking pride in maintaining a space that promotes peace and renewal. Your tasks will include checking pond water levels, clearing debris, inspecting and adjusting irrigation systems, and trimming foliage to keep trails clear and welcoming. You will also respond to seasonal needs like storm cleanup or planting, staying in close communication with your team to track progress and flag any maintenance concerns. Whether it's troubleshooting a sprinkler line or ensuring our grounds stay beautiful and safe, your attention to detail keeps the property in peak condition day in and day out. Spirit of the Heavens is a nature resort dedicated to providing a tranquil haven for guests to unwind, rejuvenate, and reconnect with nature. Requirements
- Experience and knowledge about landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field
- Knowledge and familiarity with irrigation
- Personal integrity
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to troubleshoot when issues arise
- Ability to operate equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Ability to interact with other staff
- Ability to manage tasks working in various weather conditions
- Ability to work in culturally sensitive environments
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
